As a growing charity, we are looking to expand our team of Support Workers to provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities. This particular role will provide support to a lovely gentleman who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, cortical blindness and learning difficulties. He is looking for a Support Worker who will enjoy his constantly happy demeanour, his love of stories and who will help with activities and outings. He is fun-loving, gentle, loves life and wakes up EVERY morning with excitement and enthusiasm for the day.

Requirements:

• You are an experienced Support Worker
• You hold a full manual UK driving licence
• You will complete 2 shifts a week. Shifts usually run from 7.30am-7.30pm or 8am-8pm, with a requirement for alternate weekends. We require candidates who can offer flexibility.
• You provide a nurturing, supportive and patient approach
• You have strong communication skills, being able to pick up on both verbal and non-verbal cues
