As a growing charity, we are looking to expand our team of Support Workers to provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities.
This particular role will provide support around the clock to a gentleman who lives in his own home. He has profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) which is a lifelong condition. You won’t be alone – this is a 2:1 role so you will work alongside another colleague so that this gentleman’s needs can be met. He has a busy schedule and loves doing a variety of activities that are stimulating and meet his sensory needs.
The gentleman is always happy, he likes to have fun, he loves listening to stories and he has a great sense of humour. He wakes up each morning with excitement, enthusiasm and eager to start his day, As part of his person-centred support plan it is important that his routine and protocols are adhered to, to ensure a good quality of life.
