This is £28,052 per annum. (FTE is 40 hours per week, pro rata for part time.)

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our supported living service in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. We have day/evening shifts as well as waking night shifts available. This role is truly special, as you will be providing person-centred support to a lady with learning disabilities and Autism, allowing her to choose how she wants to live her life and enabling her to reach her full potential.

“We are looking for an experienced support worker in learning disability who is compassionate and who really cares to go that extra mile to support our 26 year old daughter to live the best life experiences on a day to day basis. This is a 2:1 role so you will work alongside another colleague so that our daughter’s needs can be met. Our daughter’s disability means she relies on you for absolutely everything but her determination, happiness and smile shine through which is infectious. Main responsibilities

  • To provide person-centred support to the people who use our services.
  • To follow the support plans of the people we support and any other relevant documentation
  • To support all people in line with their individual communication needs
  • Assist with daily activities, which may include medication administration, and personal hygiene.
  • Maintain open communication with the people we support, their families and within the staffing team to ensure needs are met effectively.
