We are looking for one or two female waking night support workers to assist a woman with learning disabilities who loves being on the go.

About the role:

As a support worker you will:

  • provide person-centred support following support plans and any other relevant documentation. 
  • invest time to build and maintain effective and respectful relationships with the people we support, their families, colleagues, and other professionals, adapting your approach according to the individual, situation and context to achieve desired outcomes.
  • work as part of the team with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

No previous experience is required as full training will be given,

Requirements:

  • We have a full-time waking nights position available (covering Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights) or 2 part-time positions, alternating between Saturday & Sunday, and Monday & Tuesday shifts).
  • You will need to have a caring, passionate and patient approach
  • You will need strong communication and team working skills
  • Due to the support required, this position is open to female applicants only, as the role is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010

Salary – £26,280 per annum (FTE 40 hours per week, pro rata for part time)
