We are looking for female support workers to assist a woman with learning disabilities who loves walking, trampolines, the swings and swimming.

About the role:

As a support worker you will:

• assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, household chores and personal care.
• provide personalised support and supporting with physical needs including hoisting.
• encourage independence and social inclusion by doing fun, fulfilling activities. 
• work closely with family, management and healthcare professional to provide excellent care.
• participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

No previous experience is required as full training will be given,

Requirements:

• You will need a full UK driving licence for this role
• You will need to be flexible to work a range of shifts including day, evenings and weekends. Waking night shifts are available too
• You will need to have a caring, passionate and patient approach
• You will need strong communication and team working skills
• Due to the support required, this position is open to female applicants only, as the role is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010

Salary – £26,280 per annum (FTE 40 hours per week, pro rata for part time)
