As a growing charity, we are looking to expand our team of Support Workers to provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities.
This particular role will provide support to a young man in his own home who has autism and possesses exceptional savant abilities in mathematics, memory and calendar calculation, alongside learning difficulties. While he can display occasional negative behaviours, he has a board range of interests, a slapstick sense of humour, and a zest for life. He is looking for a Support Worker who can help him nurture his talents whilst providing guidance, and supporting him to self-regulate during challenging moments. He requires support with aspects of daily living.
