We are seeking community support workers to assist adults with learning disabilities in their own homes and while out in the community. 

About the role:

As a community support worker you will assist with:

• household chores, personal care and medication management.
• supporting people to attend medical appointments. 
• supporting people during daytime outings including shopping trips, dining out and visits to the park.  
• participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Previous experience is not required as full training will be given,

Requirements:

• You will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car for this role
• You will need a friendly, patient and outgoing personality. 
• You will need a passion to help others and make a difference in the community.
• You will be capable of working both independently as well as part of a team.
• You will be able to be flexible as shifts do cover evenings and weekends. 

Salary – £26,280 per annum (FTE 40 hours per week, pro rata for part time)
