We are seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Manager to join our Operations team. Positive behaviour support (PBS) is ‘a person centred framework for providing long-term support to people with a learning disability, and/or autism, including those with mental health conditions, who have, or may be at risk of developing, behaviours that challenge. It is a blend of person centred values and behavioural science and uses evidence to inform decision-making.
You will be enthusiastic, have a good eye for detail and able to work without direct supervision. In order to be considered for this role you will need a minimum of a Diploma qualification in Positive Behaviour Support and/or Applied Behaviour Analysis. You will work directly with the Head of Operations and Service Managers to provide direct Positive Behaviour Support in setting up and delivering on behaviour support plans, by working alongside teams and PROACT SCIP ® UK instructors to develop outcomes, skills and knowledge within the services. This role would suit somebody that has experience of working within a PBS role directly supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism who have complex needs including the producing and implementing of PBS plans. The successful candidate will be confident and knowledgeable in taking the lead role in supporting people and guiding others through difficult situations. You will hold a relevant qualification in PBS and provide evidence of ongoing training with respect to Applied Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support, learning disabilities, and Autism spectrum conditions.
