We are supporting 5 men who have recently moved into their new home and are looking for Support Workers to enable them to live independently, get to know the area, build up their confidence and experience in new activities. We are currently looking for a new team of people who will be open, honest and have a real commitment to supporting people to maximise their independent skills.
We would like to recruit staff who are active, can think outside the box, have experience in behaviours that challenge and Makaton.
The males we are supporting have a wide range of interests which include things like going to the gym, music, going to the pub and seeing family. We are looking for staff who share these interests and are proactive in helping people to try new things. Your role will be a mixture of providing one to one support hours as well as working inside the house to support all 5 males.
It is important that you will be able to offer reassurance when people are having a bad day, you will need to be robust, not afraid of a challenge and be able take each day as it comes.
We operate a 24 hour seven days a week service with a variety of shift patterns that are based on the people we support’s individual requirements. Our full-time contracts are based on 40 hours per week with part-time contracts also available as well as Relief Bank work.
