We are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team who currently support a gentleman lives in his own home in Ely. The team who work in this particular role tend to enjoy being outdoors, are willing to try new things, are enthusiastic but not over the top, are motivated and like more to life than sitting around. 

We would like people to join our team who can stay calm and accept that sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
The person we support loves going to the gym, going for dog walks, working with horses, playing pool and darts, going on my Playstation and Go-Karting. We have a range of varied roles available including, full time, part time, nights and relief (bank work)

About the role

Our Support Workers provide a person-centred approach to empower people with a learning disability. They create and promote our positive ethos. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for making a difference to people’s lives everyday. This may be helping with essential day to day tasks like shopping or personal care or it could be engaging in activities in the local community. We ask our team to be creative in coming up with exciting ways for the people we support to enjoy new activities that interest them.

The kind of person we are looking for

For this particular role we require candidates to have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. If you don’t have this, please have a look at some of our other jobs. We believe that a good Support Worker doesn’t need to always have the experience behind them. It’s all about having the right attitude and a natural energy for helping others. We also know that many of our current workforce came from a range of different fields. We do not ask for set qualifications to start you on your journey, as long as you have a passion for making a difference, then we will give you all the tools you will need to excel and start a fulfilling career.
